Each year I like to kick off our 15 week challenge from the same starting point… GRATITUDE… If there is one thing I know for sure, it is that we are a BUSY people. We are rocking and rolling every day. I just read a study that asked people “how busy are you” and the overwhelming answer was “busier this year than I was last year…and busier last year than the year before.” We get so lost in the racing around we sometimes miss the sign posts of love, laughter, life, that are right in front of us.
We are a going, going, going bunch of multi-tasking doers… So this week, your challenge is simple. PAUSE just for a moment, and give PRAISE for all that you have. Not just the material things, like a nice car, or a big house, but I want you to PAUSE throughout the day and really take notice of all that is GOOD in your life. They say if you write down 5 things a day for 21 days of things you are grateful for your life will never be the same. Can you imagine that in 3 weeks you could look at your life from a totally different perspective?
The beauty of this challenge is that it takes but a moment, just a quick PAUSE. Try it right now… What are 5 things you are grateful for? Heck, don’t stop there, make a list of 25 things you are grateful for… Is it easy? Some may find this challenge extremely easy, others may really struggle with it. The beauty is, EVERYONE has LOTS to be grateful for, it’s just a matter of recognizing it. So as always, this first challenge of our first week of our 15 week challenge is each day PAUSE & PRAISE and watch what happens next.
