This weekend I was watching a favorite Christmas movie. It’s a Wonderful Life. Every year I watch this I bawl my eyes out. The end is so darn touching… It got me thinking about our 15 week challenge – from Stressed to Blessed. I know we are all in full steam ahead busy holiday mode. This season is such a tricky one, because it should be filled with joy, and hope, and peace and love… yet it seems that stress, depression, loneliness also can creep into our days. So this week your challenge is to make a list of WHY your life is wonderful! Yes, take a look beyond the stresses that can come at this time of the year, and remember what is TRULY important.. Where are your blessings in life? Who do you bless in life? Why, oh why, is your life wonderful. Just like George Bailey, it may take you a moment to realize how blessed you are and how you have been a blessing to others. Hopefully this list will bring you tears of JOY and reaffirm that you are precious!
This week try to stop and reflect. Pause… and ponder… and realize just what a WONDERFUL life you have.
