Three years ago I had this idea. This wonderful, fabulous, creative idea. I thought I could do some mixing of my circles. I could mix up my Life Coaching with my Facebooking… so often I hear my friends say they wish they could come hear me speak on my JOYFUL topics… I thought why not create a way that I could share what I love with my friends on facebook and they could share it with their friends, and so on and so on.
I began the first 15 week challenge in 2010. I picked 15 weeks because it started shortly after school started and ended shortly before the holidays. I thought it was a nice way to weekly challenge others to be aware, be intentional about their life. Often stress builds without us noticing until it hits us straight in gut. However, I believe that with a little bit of focus and a whole lot of intention you can continue to march forward feeling blessed in the midst of all the chaos. And that is my simple and true motivation behind these weekly challenges. Is to offer you a quick pause in your day to stop, think, and move forward. Shifting ever so slightly towards your true north. Our soul knows the way, and wants to point us in the right direction, but the winds and waves of life, sometimes throw us off course.
I hope that gives you a little snapshot of what my intentions are over the next 15 weeks. This year, I started 2 weeks later, so that our challenge will actually carry us through to 2013! Imagine starting the new year off in a firmer state of being. This is possible. I hope you’ll join me. You can follow along on facebook – simply click on this link and “like” the page. You will then receive all updates through your facebook. The other way you can follow along is by checking out my blog each week. I will post the same information here weekly. On the left side of my blog is a category 2012 – 15 week challenge – you can click on that to take you to the page where each challenge is listed. Also, if you are new to my blog, you can check out the last two years of challenges which are also listed on the side bar.
This year our challenge will be slightly different. As a lover of the “To Do” list and the “To DON”T” lists I will be posting challenges that simply ask you to pause and reflect then make a list of… well, I guess you’ll have to wait and see. I look forward to walking this walk with you. Share it with all your friends and family and get some good discussion going.
