I’ve been planning on getting this website up and running for a while, and I finally did it!
Hooray, I certainly have more joy now! One more thing off my “to do” list.
So, are you wondering… “What is this website about anyways?” Well, let me tell you.
After being a stay-at-home mom for nearly 5 years, I realized it was time to shake things up a bit. In the summer of 2003 I became a Certified Life Coach. I originally was known to work with The Extra Busy Mom (know a few, do you? Perhaps YOU are one), and started working with busy moms both individually and in groups to help them slow it down and find more joy in their lives. From there, I was being asked to speak to different groups on some of my favorite topics:
How to Simplify Your life
How to Prioritize
How to Organize
How to Energize
How to find more joy
I noticed that my audiences began to be more than busy moms, they were women, men, young, old, working women, stay at home moms and more. I decided to update my website (formerly www.busymomcoaching.com) and specifically target an audience who wants to find more joy in their lives.
I once read “Joy is like looking for your eyeglasses and realizing they were on your head the whole time!” I believe that sometimes we don’t know how much joy is around us because we are so busy, so tired, so stuck in the same old same old. I truly believe that there are always good things to experience no matter what your life situation is.
And so THAT is what this website is about. I’m here to help you realize, discover, re-discover and live the joys that are already in your life, perhaps hidden under the “clutter” of every day life, or even disguised inside some sad events that you haven’t been able to see it. I would love to come speak at your next group meeting. Whether there’s a few of you or an entire conference room full, please consider me for an inspiring, fun and joy-filled presentation specifically targeted to your audience.
