coaching tip
This last month has definitely been a ride! I have felt waves of fear, comfort, chaos, peace, sadness etc. They all keep keep rolling in. I am trying to ride the waves with my faith flag flying high!
As one of my favorite podcasters said, “this is a marathon it is not a sprint.” Thinking long term then what daily habits can I use to help sustain me through this time?
I hope these tips will help you run this Covid-19 marathon… Some daily tips I have gathered from all around!
Connect – today think about someone who you can check in with or check on. Facetime, email, snapchat –> keeping connected to those we love will always fill our cups!
Care- today think about a way you can care for yourself. Perhaps a long hot shower, light a candle, make some tea, take a nap…
Create- spend a few moments being creative, doodling, working on photo books, organize your silverware drawer, write a poem….
Control – control how much media you take in today. It is ok to turn off your phone, your tv, your computer.
Cook – try a new recipe? try a local small business CARRY OUT, cut up extra fruits and veggies, make some cookies…
Clean- take some time to sweep or mop or wipe down a counter, or declutter… this makes your space you are quarantined more pleasurable to relax in.
Coach – check in with your life coach! Let me help you untangle the mess in your head. We can do this together. This will end. It is a long, hard, marathon race, but whether we run, walk or crawl, we will make it through. Lock arms with those you love (virtually!) and let your FAITH be bigger than your FEAR. Fly that flag high and ride the waves of uncertainty.
You are not alone. You are strong. and we will make it through!
