This week’s challenge is a couple of days late. I’m sorry. I tried to get it done for yesterday and had a meeting every night this week. Actually, one night I drove all the way to the west side of town only to discover, the meeting was the FOLLOWING NIGHT!!! UGH! Then when I sat down to write our challenge last night I got distracted. Then I shut off the computer, climbed into bed and thought AHHHH… our challenge!! The funny thing is that I knew what this week’s challenge was going to be. It was going to be on forgiveness. On challenging you to be kind to YOU. And here I was beating myself up. Go figure.
So, today I post our twelfth week challenge. BE KIND TO YOURSELF. Why are women so hard on themselves? Why do we doubt that we are good mothers, wives, friends, daughters? Why are we not sure our best is good enough?
This week I want you to remind yourself daily that you are ok. You are doing the best you can. It’s ok that the laundry doesn’t get done today. It’s ok that you ordered pizza for dinner. It’s ok that you didn’t make it to the gym this morning. It’s ok you screened your calls. It’s ok.
This week I want you to forgive yourself. I want you to be kind to YOU. I want you to realize what an amazing woman you are. What a blessing you are. What a good mom, friend, daughter, sister you are.
Repeat these words: I am a great woman. Of course unless you are a man doing the challenge.. Then I apologize for the generalizations and I forgive myself for the mistake… hahaha… anyways… bottom line… BE NICE TO YOU!!!
