Week 14 – This week my challenge to you is a simple one. I want you to LAUGH!
Life can be so crazy! This past week I wanted to cry because I was so tired and busy and crazy… but I made it through and today the sun was shining and we had big Texas blue skies and I felt happy and so I thought let’s spend this next week laughing. Plain and simple.
Did you
know that laughter is good for your health
* Laughter relaxes the whole body. A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.
* Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.
* Laughter triggers the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being and can even temporarily relieve pain.
* Laughter protects the heart. Laughter improves the function of blood vessels and increases blood flow, which can help protect you against a heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.
What makes YOU laugh?

This weeks challenge is all about laughter. What makes you laugh? Read the full post below to see all the benefits of laughter. One of the things that makes me laugh, is my crazy, awesome, kooky family. This photo was taken three years ago of my brothers and sister, friend, aunt and uncle as we were waiting for my mom to come out of brain tumor removal surgery. The stress was high, but with family there’s always a way to bring laughter to a difficult situation. With a tube of lipstick, and some doctor masks boy did we light up the waiting room smile emoticon yes laughter helps the stress.
