Here we are just a few moments before Christmas day. I am posting our last challenge and also using this opportunity to wish each of you Merry Christmas and a joy filled new year. More on that in a minute…
Today’s final challenge seems like a challenge alrighty. Here we are in the final days before the busiest holiday of the year. A time where we should be reflecting and anticipating…The Advent season teaches us Hope, Peace, Joy & Love…but we are so busy wrapping, shopping, baking, cleaning, mailing, preparing, stressing that we sometimes miss the whole true celebration.
So, now that it’s pretty much here, and you’ve done all that you can do…take a few moments, minutes, days and DIAL it DOWN a bit. That’s right. Stop. slow down… relax…listen to the kids laughter….watch the lights on the tree twinkle…sing with the music on the radio…inhale the yummy smells in the kitchen…I recently read this holiday intervention – pause. listen to a song without multitasking and relax every cell into the music as if the song wer playing from the inside of you.
just. slow. down. sit on the floor with the kids. pull out a puzzle. order in chinese food tonight and relish that the kitchen is still clean afterwards.
Michelle and I have enJOYed writing our weekly challenges and we hope that you have come away with some new tools on how to move from a STRESSED moment to a BLESSED moment. We wish you all the merriest Christmas and the happiest new year. Thanks for joining us these past 15 weeks!
