Last week at a meeting I was at, a friend shared a story about a woman racing into the restroom after her flight landed at the airport. When she got in there, a woman was cleaning the floors. The passenger greeted her with a friendly “Hello!” and then rushed into the stall to ‘take care of business’. While in the stall the cleaning woman shouted over the door, “you are such a nice lady”. The woman in the stall wondered who she was talking to, so she asked, “Me?”
“Yes,” the cleaning lady answered. “usually people don’t even see me, and you not only saw me but greeted me with kindness.” The woman exited the stall and they hugged.
Who don’t you SEE?
This week make a list of people you encounter through your every day life who you will SEE. Say hello. Smile. The kindness we extend to others has a direct affect on our own happiness. Whether it’s the busboy at your favorite lunch spot, the bagger at your grocery store, the crossing guard at the school… the custodian at your job, an elderly neighbor…
This week, give your eyes some eyes to look deeper.

I See You.
YOU matter!
