Week 5 ~ Look at your life as if it’s the first time you’ve seen it or the last time you’ll ever see it…
Does this sound daunting? I can’t remember where I heard or saw a statement similar to this, but it stuck with me. I thought about how much we take for granted in our lives. Our pretty houses, or pretty neighborhoods, or soft beds, or fast cars, or gosh.. the list goes on and on. So this week your challenge is throughout your day stop and look where you are, who you are with, what you are doing etc and really look. Look as if it is the first time you have ever seen “it”, been “there” , done “that”
For example, when you make your breakfast in the morning, really look at it and think WOW!! Eggs & toast ~look at that! … (lol) Or stop and think, what if this was the LAST time I ever got to eat this for breakfast, or what if this was my LAST cup of coffee…ever…. Makes you appreciate it a little differently doesn’t it?
This kind of thinking just makes you stop and think and shifts your life into a new filter. A filter of wonder. A filter of gratitude. A filter of feeling blessed. Stop taking EVERYTHING for granted this week… Really LOOK at your life and ALL that you have, GET to do…
…and watch your life shift from STRESSED to BLESSED!!!
