Welcome to week two in our 15 week challenge! Tonight I was out walking my dog and it is (finally) a cool Texas night! My family was at the grocery store, so it was me, the dog, and my ipod. I put on a song I hadn't heard before. I guess one of my kids have it on their list, it's called Beautiful Things by Gungor. As I was listening to this new favorite! song, walking the dog on this glorious … [Read more...] about Week 2 ~ Making a Comfort List
Week 1 ~ What are you Grateful for?
Wheeee! Let the fun begin! Today I post our first of fifteen challenges. Where should we start?? Actually, if you have heard me speak before or participated in this challenge in the last few years, you probably know where I think we should start. Before we begin, let me explain our challenge theme this year ```15 WEEKS OF LISTS``` I would guess that 90% or so of our participants own a smart … [Read more...] about Week 1 ~ What are you Grateful for?
3rd Annual – 15 Week Challenge – From Stressed to Blessed
Three years ago I had this idea. This wonderful, fabulous, creative idea. I thought I could do some mixing of my circles. My kids are … [Read more...] about Ahhhhhhhhh.
School ain’t for sissies

I think it's funny, that even though they are both full grown teenagers, I still get choked up dropping them off on their first day of school. I still remember dropping my daughter off at pre-school and being so nervous. Then after lunch I ran by to peek in the window and check in on her. … [Read more...] about School ain’t for sissies
Happy Father’s Day
When I first met Robert and fell in love, I KNEW with all my heart he was the perfect match for me! I KNEW he would be the most amazing, loving, wonderful husband. What I didn't know, and I guess no wife ever ever knows, is what kind of father he might be someday. Actually when we met, we had talked about not having kids, but maybe doing foster care. I didn't really think I could have babies … [Read more...] about Happy Father’s Day
